Gordon Parks
Mood:  hug me
Photojournalism is a news story presented through photographs with a supplementary written copy. Photographical is the cpaturing of impressions whether they're vivid or accurate.

I chose Gordon Park's picture of Ella Watson in front of the american flag holding a mop and broom. I think that sometimes people can forget that no one person can work an entire nation without every big and little person. (Big or little meaning their job). Everyone is needed to make something great.

In this picture, I think this is what Park's was trying to get across. Hard work is needed from everyone so that bigger and better things are accomplished in all our futures.

People have become so much more shallower and negative. They don't think "outside the box" therefore causing trapped society bent on basics. We have suddenly become the mice in a cage game where we're all trapped and losing due to our own one sided self-heroism. We should be together as one; people say we are but we're not. If we're together as one then we should stand as one without any thought of superior race or religious hate. Like I said Park's probably took the picture to remind us that we're all not a one person hero of peace but a united world of equal opinion where no one is afraid to say what they feel.

When we die
Mood:  party time!
In my dialogue "When We Die" i would be Marie. She has a lot of dramatic and changing emotions. She loves someone very much and a rumor makes her question what was real of the relationship and what wasn't and if she was ever loved in the first place. Everyone in the world wants to be loved and sometimes just by one certain person. She wants that person to be Scott and she soon finds out that he wants her to be that person we they die in the end. Its a sad chick-flic.(lol) Some of the people who have read my dialogue asked me how i got the idea to write this and i don't know. i'm surprised that i came up with something like that because my specialty in writing is mainly poetry.

Movies
Mood:  lyrical
America has a lot of different qualities that are very different from other countries. Movies that are mad by Americans are sometimes very violent or sad. For example the movie Broke Back Mountain. Its a story about two gay cowboys. Some people are really offensive about people's orientation. It shouldn't be that way because everyone is human and thats something people often forget especially with race issues that are constantly brought up. So what if someone is gay, straight, les., or just like it both ways? If thats how they choose to live their life then let them live it up! We don't have a very long time on this earth. But people waste with such unimportant trivial things like if someone is gay or not! Look at Elton John!(lol) He lives his life just fine and hes gay AND hes married to a guy! I'm sure hes gotten some rude remarks said about him but it doesn't him any. i have the attitude that i don't care if you're gay, straight,bi, whatever as long as you're a good person thats all that matters!

Thought 1
Mood:  chillin'
No women have ever messed up my life. They have although contributed to it and effected it. For many years women have contributed to themselves and for other women by their fighting for equal rights for women. If that hadn't of happened then i prolly wouldn't be allowed to be writing this. Guys may say that women are useless and that they are weak but i think that they're afraid of admitting the fact that women can sometimes equal up to some things that men do. Like intelligence, sports, determination, and other different things. Their determination is what effected my life too. Their determination has effected the community as well. It really is amazing what people can do when they a determined mind instead of negative thoughts. That may have a little to do with men sometimes having to make women feel inferior of their abilities. Women have contributed to the economy too, with their intelligence. They have accomplished things that some men probably wouldn't be able to do. A woman who contributed in history, to me, was Amelia Earheart. Her intelligence and love for flying planes enabled her to be the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean alone. And men say women can't do anything.pshhh
